Quick and Simple Tiramisu

Traditional Tiramisu

I’m not going to fluff this for you; let’s get straight to the point—you want to know how to make the most amazing, scrumptious, delicious tiramisu to enjoy solo or impress your friends and family. So, let’s cut the chit-chat and get to it.

Pred Time

10 Mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cups heavy whipping cream

  • Ounce container mascarpone cheese, room temp

  • 1/3 Cup granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 1/2 cups cold espresso

  • 3 Tablespoons coffee-flavored liqueur

  • 1 Package of Lady Fingers Cookies

  • Cocoa Powder

  1. Add heavy cream, vanilla, and sugar to a medium bowl. Whip with an electric whisk until stiff peaks form when the whisk is pulled up.

  2. Add coffee and liqueur to a bowl. Dip Lady fingers into the coffee mixture quickly, not letting them sit in the liquid. Lay them in the bottom of whatever pan or glassware.

  3. Layer half of the mascarpone mixture over the dunked cookies. Add another layer of the coffee-dipped cookies, then the remaining mascarpone mix.

  4. Dust the top of the dessert well with cocoa powder.

Cut or scoop the layered coffee delicacy and enjoy! Quick, simple, and a showstopper for any dinner party.

My favorite thing is making tiramisu in a clear glass container with a fun or tall design. You can see the layering a bit clearer, and if you add a few more layers, it’s a fun big reveal when it’s time for a sweet treat.
